We practiced counting and using numerals by assembling a flower with numbered petals,  counting the petals before and after we stuck them on the picture, reading a counting book, and we sang a counting song from Starfall.com about 5 Speckled Frogs on a Speckled Log.

Starfall.com has some wonderful activites to enhance school readiness skills.  A paid subscription opens even more activities.

Then we went outside to look for colors that we named.
