 We practiced some coloring and writing skills.

                                               We painted our hands again for prints to make a

                                                                         large peacock.

        

                                                                   It looks beautiful!

        

                                                   We returned to pattern work to complete

                                                                                  our lizards.  

        

        

                                   It was quite challenging, especially when we dropped beads!

                              

                                     

    

November 21, 2014

                                    We had something new in preschool today, a big box!

        

                                                       We colored it inside and out!

                                            We played in and out of it all through preschool.

                                

                                 

                       We had a "process art" lesson, where we could make anything we  wanted with

                                                                      the supplies on the table.

          

    

             

              

                                                  

             

                                                                We made penguins with paper plates.

            

           

    

           

             

                                                                                 It was a busy day.

November 19, 2014

                      We had a reading lesson on the Smart board with starfall.com.  We learned 

                                  about the sounds made by at, ug, h, b, c, m, and r.

                                    We listened to Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss.

                                  Then we started working on following a pattern with beads to make a

                                                lizard.  We will keep working on it until it is finished.

November 17, 2014

Today we used starfall.com to decorate a snowman. 

We sang the Ten Little Snowmen song. 

Then we connected the dots to draw a snowman and we decorated and colored our snowmen.

Our next lesson was counting to ten and painting the numbers and our names. 

Best of all,  we used glitter! 

                                                       Our last lesson was making a snake.

Sssssssss! 

We finished the day with reading Fall Leaves Fall.

We had Smart Board lessons today and we loved it!

Our first lesson was for counting from 1 to 10.  We each had opportunities to advance the lesson by tapping the board.  

Then we had a lesson about the colors of the rainbow.  We watched and listened to a song about the colors of the rainbow.  

Then we colored a rainbow cake.  

We watched the video and sang the song and the Teachers of the Day reviewed each color with us.

Our final lesson was about shapes and colors.

We used shapes and colors to complete a gingerbread man on the Smart Board with Starfall.com.

November 12, 2014

A Big Buddy read us a Little Critter story about cleaning up our things.

We talked about and made rainbows.

We colored a coffee filter "leaf" with markers and sprayed it with water.  All the colors ran together to make a beautiful fall leaf. We will bring them home Friday after they are dry.
